The regular season in the KingCo is heading into the final weeks, as Woodinville grabbed control of the Crown Division, Skyline and Issaquah roll on and three teams are now tied for second in 3A/2A.

The big game on Friday night was at Pop Keeney Stadium in Bothell, where Woodinville beat Bothell for the first time in six years and went to 6-0 for the first time since 1996. They now have the inside track for the Crown Division title and a spot in the KingCo title game. Bothell is now tied with Inglemoor for second (but hold the tie-breaker after last week's win over the Vikings) after IHS' win over Roosevelt on Saturday. Ballard beat Garfield in the Beavers' homecoming game in Saturday's other game.

Next week's games in the Crown include a Thursday game between Roosevelt and Ballard and two Friday games: Woodinville facing Inglemoor at Pop Keeney and Bothell travels to Seattle Memorial Stadium to face Garfield.

In the Crest Division, there were easy wins for Skyline and Issaquah. Eastlake went to Everett and beat Mariner in a non-league game at Goddard Stadium.

Games in the division next week include a huge game at Eastlake, as the Wolves host Issaquah. Newport travels to Redmond and Skyline will host Jackson from the Wesco in a non-league game.

There is a big logjam at the top of 3A/2A. On Thursday, Mercer Island used a big second half to knock Mount Si out of a first-place tie with Bellevue. On Friday, the Wolverines solidified their hold on first with a win over Juanita, while Liberty joined the Islanders and Wildcats in second place by rolling past Lake Washington. In an intra-Bellevue battle, Interlake's Jordan Todd scored five touchdowns in the first half as the Saints rolled past Sammamish.

The big game next week is Liberty hosting Mercer Island. Bellevue plays at Sammamish, Mount Si travels to Juanita and Lake Washington heads to Interlake.
